Sudoku Sanctuary Support
Published by ACCORDANT SYSTEMS, INC.
Sudoku Sanctuary is an offline Sudoku player and learning app for iPhone and iPad. It includes 25,000 puzzles across Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, and Master, plus saved games, Daily Puzzle, local statistics, notes, hints, themes, and guided strategy lessons.
Starting or continuing a game
Choose Play to select a difficulty. If a matching saved game exists, the app offers a short choice to continue it or start another puzzle. Up to five ordinary games can be kept at once. When those slots are full, starting another ordinary game requires choosing which saved game to replace.
Open Continue to resume or delete a saved game. Games save automatically, and only the game currently on screen has a running timer.
Notes and chain markings
Turn on Notes before entering possible numbers. Selecting a cell opens an enlarged Notes view so small candidates remain readable. Candidate marks can also be labelled as strong or weak links while working through chain-based strategies.
Daily Puzzle
Daily Puzzle chooses one stable puzzle for the current UTC date. It uses its own progress and statistics rather than changing Quick Play results.
Practice and strategy lessons
Choose Practice to learn six strategy families. Lessons explain the rule, show a worked example, guide a move, allow independent practice, and finish with a review. Practice does not count toward ordinary game time or results.
Statistics and appearance
Open Settings for appearance options and local statistics. Progress is stored on the device; Sudoku Sanctuary currently has no account or cloud-sync service.
Removing local progress
Saved games can be deleted from Continue. Uninstalling the app removes its active local data, subject to the device owner's Apple backup and restore settings. Deleted or uninstalled progress cannot be recovered by the developer because the app has no account or remote save.
Contact
When reporting a problem, include the app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, the screen where the problem occurred, and the steps that reproduce it. Do not include passwords, payment information, or private account data.
